How heavy is the camera? The ShotKam camera and additional brackets together weigh 5.5 ounces total (.2 kilograms). This is the equivalent to five slices of bread.

Is it durable in the rain and hunting conditions? Yes, the ShotKam's housing material and mounting brackets are aircraft-grade aluminum. It is built powerfully to endure all shotgunning environments including hunting.
How many shots can it hold? The ShotKam has a built-in memory capacity of 64 GB, so it can hold up to 2,000 clay videos or 1,000 hunting videos on your camera. Once your ShotKam's memory is full, the LEDs will flash red and blue. How long does it last in the first? The long-lasting battery is built inside of the ShotKam and is not removable. Charge the camera overnight before going to the range. It will last:
- Clay Shooting: 4 to 5 hours
- Hunting: 5 to 6 hours
- Constant Wi-Fi mode: 1 hour
- Constant Record mode: 1 hour
NOTE: You can use an external battery charger with your ShotKam as long as you use our provided USB cable. Our USB cable reduces the input voltage to 5V, so you can safely use it with any charger that has a USB adapter.
There is a WiFi module built inside of the camera, so you can connect your ShotKam to any iPad / Tablet / Smartphone while in the field (no other Wi-Fi source needed). The ShotKam's Wi-Fi will appear in your phone's Wi-Fi Networks options. You will not need any other source of data, hotspot, or Bluetooth—you could be in the middle of a desert and still play your videos. All you need is your mobile device and the ShotKam camera.
ShotKam is 100% weatherproof when the rear cap is on to cover the USB port. The ShotKam is OK in rain or accidental submersion when hunting, but it cannot be used for under-water sports.
