Rebooting the Gen 4 or Gen 4 Mini

If your ShotKam 4 or Gen 4 Mini is not turning ON after pressing the control button or if the red LED light does not appear while charging, then we recommend performing a reboot. Your data will not be lost after doing a reboot. 

  1. Remove the rear cap and ensure the ShotKam is unplugged. 
  2. Click and hold the control button down for over 6 seconds, then release. 
  3. Now turn the ShotKam back ON with one quick click; you will see one green LED light appear.

Will a reboot erase all of my videos?

No, the reboot will not erase your ShotKam videos. This is similar to restarting a computer, so you will not lose any data. All settings and calibration will remain the same.
