The latest ShotKam App (released September 2024) now allows sharing through AirPlay and texting. Make sure you have the most up-to-date version of the app by checking the Google Play Store or the App Store for updates.
Are you having trouble sharing your ShotKam videos via text? Here’s what you need to know and how to fix it.
Why Can’t I Send My ShotKam Videos?
Please note that videos will only send after the ShotKam has been disconnected from the ShotKam WiFi network. The ShotKam network is limited and doesn’t have internet access, so when you click "Share" and text a video, it won’t send until your phone reconnects to cellular data or another WiFi network.
How to Ensure Your Videos Send
To successfully send a video via text, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect from the ShotKam network after recording your video by either turning off the ShotKam or switching your phone’s connection back to cellular data or another WiFi network.
2. Once your device is connected to cellular data or a WiFi network with internet access, the video will send automatically.
Important Note:
The ShotKam’s WiFi network is only for transferring data between the ShotKam and your mobile device. It does not connect to the internet, which is why videos can’t be shared until you’re back on a network with data.
