FedEx Inquiries and Customs Clearance in Europe

All ShotKam orders placed on ShotKam Europe are shipped from our headquarters in Florida, USA. However, duties and VAT taxes are prepaid (included in your order price), so you will not be charged any additional fees.

⚠️ Note: Taxes and duties are only prepaid when ordering from our Europe, Australia, Canada, or UK websites. If you place your order on the ShotKam USA website, import taxes and duties are not included. FedEx will contact you directly for payment upon delivery.

FedEx Inquiries for Shipments to Europe

For orders to Europe, FedEx may contact you to request additional information in order to clear your package through customs. This is a normal part of the import process and does not mean there is a problem with your shipment.

Below are the most common requests you may receive:

1. HS/HTC Codes

You may be asked for HS Codes (Harmonized System Codes), also known as HTC codes. These are international product classification numbers used for customs clearance.

Please copy the correct number from the chart below and include the short description for FedEx:

2. Air Waybill (AWB) / Tracking Number

FedEx may request your Air Waybill (AWB) number, which is simply your tracking number.

  • You can find your tracking number in your shipping confirmation email from us.

  • You can also track your order directly on the FedEx website.

3. Tax ID Number

FedEx may ask for your Tax Identification Number in order to release your package. This is required because you are the Importer of Record in your country.

  • Individuals: Provide your national ID number or passport number.

  • Businesses: Provide your company’s VAT, EORI, or tax registration number.

  • If you do not have a local ID number, you can provide another valid identifier such as your passport or a VAT number issued in another EU country.

Important: If you placed your order on our European website, then all import taxes and duties are already included in your order total. You will not be charged additional taxes. FedEx only requires your Tax ID to complete customs clearance.

4. FedEx Contact Information
