How To Adjust Zoom on Gen 4 and Gen 4 Mini
The Gen 4 and Gen 4 Mini have digital zoom, so it will automatically zoom based on your target (Clays, Flying Birds, or Big Game). If needed, you can change the zoom and field-of-view on your ShotKam with the ShotKam mobile app.
1. Connect to the ShotKam's WiFi and open the newest ShotKam mobile app.
2. Select Shooting Settings, then tap on Advanced Settings.
3. Choose "Video Format," then you will see multiple options to adjust the magnification. Click here to learn more about each format.
Reticle options
The ShotKam's patented reticle (crosshair or red dot) is customizable, so you can move it, select the style you want, or turn it off completely.
ShotKam App ➡ Shooting Settings ➡ Reticle
- Red Dot: Popular choice because it resembles the gun bead.
- Black Crosshair: Most popular choice for clay shooting against grass or sky.
- Red Crosshair: Recommended for fixing a canted mount.
If you would like to remove the reticle, select Reticle OFF. This will not affect videos already saved.
