If your Mac has USB-C ports and does not recognize your ShotKam when connected, please follow the steps below.
Use a USB-C to USB-C Cable
You can connect your ShotKam directly to your Mac using a USB-C to USB-C cable. Do not use the standard USB-A to USB-C cable with an adapter.

- For customers in Europe and Australia: Please visit the Amazon website for your location, then purchase a USB-C to USB-C cable.
Connect Your ShotKam
Connect the USB-C to USB-C cable directly from your ShotKam to the USB-C port on your Mac.
Ensure your Mac is unlocked.
If a message appears asking you to allow the accessory to connect, click Allow.
Open Finder and look under Locations for ShotKam or Untitled.
Your ShotKam should now be recognized by your Mac, and you can access your videos.
Still Not Appearing?
If your ShotKam does not appear in Finder after using a USB-C to USB-C cable:
- Disconnect the ShotKam from your Mac.
- Restart your Mac.
- Ensure the ShotKam is OFF, then reconnect using the USB-C to USB-C cable.
- If asked, click Allow to allow the accessory to connect.
- If you previously chose Don't Allow, go to Apple menu > System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessories > Allow accessories to connect.
Important: Connect the ShotKam directly to your Mac whenever possible. Avoid using a USB hub or adapter.
